On January 1, 2012, the Lucas County Educational Service Center changed its name to the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West.

The name and logo change were motivated by a desire to better reflect the local, regional, and statewide services currently being provided by the ESC.

Address and phone numbers of offices and staff will remain the same. However, website and email addresses changed during the month of January. Emails to the Lucas County ESC addresses will be forwarded to the new addresses.
